Consultation Services are offered by phone, email and in-person.  Travel fees apply to in-person consultations and vary by location.

Phone or email consultation fees:

$35 for a 1/2 hour consultation.  This is a great choice for those who have one or two quick questions.  Also great for existing clients who want clarification or information on a single topic.

$65 for a 1 hour consultation.  This is a good option for those who have a specific need.  This may include questions on nutritional supplements, herbal options, essential oils, and basic recipe questions.  This is best for those who need specific information on one or two well defined topics.

$150 for a holistic nutritional assessment, for one animal; dog or cat (a questionnaire will be provided).  This includes a complete evaluation of your pet’s current diet, overall health condition, and the environmental factors that contribute to wellness.  During our consultation, we will discuss all of this in detail.  I will answer all of your nutrition related questions and address your dietary goals for your pet.  The holistic nutritional assessment includes a 90-120 minute consultation, my suggestions based on the questionnaire you submit, and a detailed written summary of our call, including  my recommendations to meet your stated goals.  A follow up call or email is also included to be sure you fully understand everything we covered.  This price includes 3-4 hours of my time in total.

$150 for a comprehensive custom consultation, for one animal; dog or cat.  These are customized for you and your pet’s individual needs and can include one or more topics.  The topics can include anything pet nutrition related such as dietary requirements for a specific life stage or health condition, commercial pet food options, and instructions on how to prepare balanced, homemade diets.  I can help you formulate balanced home prepared food recipes (raw or cooked), work out a meal plan, learn how to prepare food in bulk, and understand what supplements are needed for your animals specific needs.  I will work with you to understand your goals and customize the topics we cover to meet your needs.  The custom consultation includes a 90-120 minute phone discussion that covers our agreed upon topics, my suggestions to meet your stated goals, and a detailed written summary of our call, including my recommendations.  A follow up call or email is also included to be sure you fully understand everything we covered.  This price includes 3-4 hours of my time in total.

$150 for a comprehensive, holistic consultation for animals with health conditions.  We will discuss nutritional needs, dietary options, nutritional supplements, herbal options and other holistic modalities that can help support your animal’s health condition.  The holistic consultation for animals with health conditions incudes a 90-120 minute phone discussion that covers traditional, alternative and complementary approaches.  I will answer all of your questions and provide you with recommendations.  You will receive a written summary of our call including my recommendations.  A follow up call or email is also included to be sure you fully understand everything we covered.  This price includes 3-4 hours of my time in total.

Hands on food making classes and group classes are priced individually and depend on the specifics including number of participants.  Contact Susan for details and pricing.

The hands on food making class will teach you how to make properly balanced meals for dogs or cats at home.  We will start with a presentation on the species requirements and the ingredients need for balanced, home prepared meals and then we will make a batch of food together.  I will explain the how and why of each step of the process and provide you with tips and techniques along the way so you will be successful on your own.  At the end, the class participants will take home the food we make.  The final price depends on the specifics included such as the number of people in the class, how much food we make, and the class location.  I will provide everything needed including handouts, class equipment, food, and take home containers.  Contact Susan for more information on pricing.
